The Rev. Debbie Derby, a colleague of Pastor Steven's recently retired from Trinity UCC, Mount Penn, will be preaching and leading on the one communion Sunday this summer. She also will be on call for pastoral emergencies and funerals. (Pastor Debbie will preach 6/2, 8/4, 9/1)
Mahlon Boyer lives in Exeter Township with his wife, Brittany, and two sons, Alexander and Bennett. He looks forward both to sharing the Good News from the pulpit this summer and to hearing other members of the church as they preach and share their faith. (6/9, 8/11)
Alan Ross is a licensed CPA married to Michele. He's served as VP and President of Consistory and currently serves as Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. He leads services at Hope Rescue Mission as a representative of St, Paul's and has filled in for the Pastor in leading worship in the past. (6/16, 6/30)
Mike Rackey and his fiance Regan joined St. Paul's in 2023 and Mike quickly volunteered to serve as sexton of the church so he could ring the bells that helped call him to this congregation. He looks forward to spreading the Gospel as his dad began to do shortly before he passed away.(6/23)
Billy Harrison is excited to have the opportunity to preach at St. Paul's UCC. He grew up at St. Paul's and attended from his youth and has felt led to return here with his family. Serving the people of St. Paul's in this way reminds him of when he was a young confirmand and preached as part of the confirmand-led service. (7/7)
Curt Clifford joined St. Paul's with his wife Gail in 1975. Their children Jeffrey and Jennifer were confirmed here and both Curt and Gail served as Consistory President in the past. Curt hopes his brothers and sisters in Christ will discern God speaking through his message. (7/14)
Kerry Kuhn loves proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He gives testimony to God's lifechanging power in his own life and watches the Spirit of God lead people to Jesus and work mightily in and through them as in the hymn, I Love to Tell the Story. John 14:6 (7/21, 8/25)
Emily Dreas has been our Director of Youth Ministry since 2021. A social worker with Exeter School District, she served as a Liturgical Ministry intern while a student at Loyola University. She plans to present her sermon this summer in a style similar to how she leads at Youth Group meetings. (7/28)
When Rev. Karen-Nuscher-Creasy, retired from her last position after 30 years of ordained ministry, she and her husband Dave thought that was the end of preaching for her. But then they joined St. Paul's this past April and now she is glad to have the opportunity once again to fulfill her calling to serve God by preaching His word. (8/18)
